How do we do it? We structure our 95% Jumbo loans by separating the debt into 2 separate loans.
This is commonly referred to as a "piggyback" or "combo loan".
The first position loan represents 80% of the purchase price of your new home. The second loan represents 15% percent of the purchase price of your new home. This equates to a 95% Jumbo mortgage loan.
